Celtic goddess Epona was best known design that was used to make exotic jewelry articles. She was protective of the cavalry, chariot and transport. Epona even became the goddess of the Romans and was the only Celtic goddess that the Romans honored. It was represented as either sitting on a side saddle on a mare, or standing between two horses.
