Understanding gemstones is essential because many people believe that gemstones have healing powers. Astrology claims that gemstones help in relationships, health and spirituality. It believes that gemstones can soothe emotional, mental and physical disorders in human beings provided they are wearing the right one but if there are gemstone conflicts then it can result in the negative.
Gemstone conflicts arise when you wear gemstones that are not compatible with your star sign or when you are wearing gemstones which are not compatible with each other. There are theories backed by examples in astrology that goes on to claim that wearing gemstones without proper planetary consultations can result in serious consequences. Astrologers say that just like as some planets are incompatible with certain other planets, similarly gemstones which usually represent planets are influenced by the incompatibility factors amongst
gemstones.
The sun is considered to be incompatible with planets like Saturn, Venus, Rahu (Moon’s north node) and Ketu (Moon’s south node). As such the ruby gemstone which represents the sun is incompatible with gemstones like the blue sapphire, diamond and cat’s eye respectively which represent the three planets mentioned above. Thus wearing a ruby with one or all these gemstones may result in gemstone conflicts.
Similarly the pearl which is a moon gemstone is incompatible with the cat’s eye, the yellow sapphire representing Jupiter is incompatible with emerald/diamond, the cat’s eye is incompatible with the ruby/pearl, the emerald is incompatible with pearl/moonstone, diamonds are not to be used with rubies or pearls, blue sapphire is not compatible with ruby, pearl and red coral and lastly red coral should not be used with emerald and blue sapphire. All these may not be facts after all still it may affect the psychology of the wearer.
