Golf leaf as the name suggests is a layer of gold as thin as a leaf. It is the thinnest type of gold that is available to jewellery manufacturers. Gold itself is an ideal material to be made into gold leaf. As the pure gold weight of twenty-four carat is quite pliant this makes it a perfect material to be hammered into gold leaf.
