If we go back in the past and have a look at the history of wedding rings for men then we can note that it was the era of 2nd World War when a good number of men started to use wedding rings (wedding bands). It was, in fact, a tradition of American soldiers that whenever they were on a war they liked to expose their marital status. Therefore, they used to wear the wedding ring. The only reason for this was just to publicize that they are committed to their life partner.

Since the Second World War the custom of wearing these rings by the soldiers was developed gradually and increased with the passage of time. Now this trend is common in newly married couples, both men
and women.
As you know that using a wedding ring is not mandatory for the women, but nowadays the use of these rings has become so common that it can be considered as compulsory. There are many women who even can’t imagine of not wearing their wedding ring. Same is the case with many men and they are very curious of wearing the wedding rings of their choice.

But not all the men want to wear the wedding rings on their wedding. Some men don’t feel good to wear the wedding ring because they have not done this before, ever. Some feel that it is a girlish thing to wear a wedding ring. The conditions are different in different parts of the world and depend on the tradition and personal thinking.
